Please enjoy these links to photographs from our property in the Brogo. Jane has been here since 1986 and Tim since 1999. The house has always been powered by solar alone, and we collect our own water. There is a half acre vegetable garden and orchard. 3 concrete tanks give us a 210,000 litre storage capacity for rainwater, and we have three small dams. We have solar power, solar hot water, a wood heater, and gas for cooking that comes in a cylinder on a delivery truck every four or five months. We grow about a third of our food requirements and do not often need to buy fruit of vegetables.
